The main brush is consumable and should be cleaned at least once a week. It is recommended to replace a main brush every 6 to 12 months to keep the robot running at its best.
1. Turn over the robot and then pull on the release tabs to unlock the brush guard. Lift the main brush to remove it from the robot. Note: be careful when reversing the robot to prevent lidar damage.
2. Cut down the hair wound on the main brush with the provided knife in cleaning tools, and then clean the main brush with the brush side of the knife. After cleaning, place the main brush and the cover back and fasten the snap.
