When the electricity went off, the built-in siren will beep for 30 seconds and meanwhile, the alarm system will send you a push notification via the DreamCatcher Life App. The built-in battery can still last for up to 7 hours. Wireless detectors/ sensors also stay active because they are powered by the battery.
